A fractional CMO who has built growth from zero in consumer tech.
I work with early-stage founders as a part-time marketing leader. I help you find your audience, land your first users, and build a growth engine that holds up as you scale, without hiring a full-time CMO too early.

What is a fractional CMO?
A fractional CMO is an experienced marketing executive who works with your company part-time, usually on a monthly retainer. You get senior strategy, hands-on direction, and a seat at the table with your founders and team, at a fraction of the cost and commitment of a full-time hire. It is a good fit when you need real marketing leadership but are not yet ready, or not yet sure, what a full-time CMO should own.
How I work as your marketing lead.
Positioning and audience
We get specific about who you are building for. I run audience research and define the user personas that every channel, message, and product decision should trace back to.
Growth strategy from 0 to 1
A plan for finding your first users and turning them into something repeatable, including viral and organic tactics that work on lean budgets.
Channel strategy and spend
I help you decide where to play, what to test first, and where cost-effective acquisition is hiding, then keep the channel mix honest as you learn.
Metrics that matter
The tracking and KPIs that tell you what is working, so you make decisions from data and not from hope.
Founder partnership
Regular one-on-one time with you as the founder, plus board-ready updates when you need them.
Team and talent
When you are ready to build out marketing, I make warm introductions to agencies and operators from my network of 100+ people I have worked with.
Who I work best with.
A good fit if
- You are pre-seed to Series B and need senior marketing leadership now.
- You are building a consumer product, or a B2B product with a consumer-style growth motion.
- You want someone who will roll up their sleeves, not just hand over a deck.
- You value focus, thoughtful sequencing, and momentum over hype.
Probably not a fit if
- You need a large in-house team managed day to day.
- You are looking for a one-time campaign or a pure execution shop.
- You want guaranteed outcomes before we have talked about your product and market.

Fractional CMO, answered.
What does a fractional CMO do?
A fractional CMO sets marketing strategy, decides which channels and experiments to prioritize, defines the metrics that matter, and works directly with founders and the team to execute. I stay close to the work, so it is more than advice.
Fractional CMO vs. agency vs. full-time CMO: which is right?
A full-time CMO makes sense once you have the budget, a team to lead, and a clear marketing scope. An agency is strong at executing a defined channel. A fractional CMO sits in between: senior leadership that decides what to do and why, and can direct agencies or hires, without the cost of a full-time executive.
When should a startup hire a fractional CMO?
Usually when marketing has become a real priority but nobody senior owns it, such as before your first marketing hire, around a launch, or when growth stalls and you are not sure why. Many founders bring me in to set the strategy and then hire in-house once the path is clear.
What stage of company do you work with?
Mostly early-stage teams, from pre-seed through Series B, in consumer and B2B.
Which industries do you know best?
Gaming, social, dating, edtech, fintech, healthcare, and media.
How do we get started?
Send me a note and we will talk through where you are and what you need. If you would rather start with one focused question, you can book a paid session through Hubble. Pricing for ongoing work depends on scope, so we will cover that on our first call.
Let's talk about your growth.
Tell me what you are building and where you are stuck. We will figure out whether a fractional CMO is the right move.
